Dr. S.N. Jha is a Senior Consultant and Chairperson of the Department of Ophthalmology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, with over four decades of clinical experience. He completed his MBBS at Patna Medical College in 1982 and his MD in Ophthalmology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, in 1986, later undertaking an advanced fellowship at the Dr. R.P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS. His clinical practice is centered on vitreoretinal disease, uveitis, and complex cataract and corneal surgery, including vitrectomy, glaucoma valve implantation, and corneal grafting. He has served as an examiner for the DNB and FNB courses under the National Board of Examinations and as an executive member of the Delhi Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Jha has been honored with the J.N. Rohatgi Oration and the Pioneer Award for his contributions to ophthalmology.
