Dr. Tapan Singh Chauhan is Senior Consultant in Surgical Oncology, Robotics, GI and HPB, Gynae and Peritoneal Surface Oncology at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram. His special interests, as Artemis states them, are gastrointestinal and hepatopancreaticobiliary oncology and peritoneal surface malignancy treated with HIPEC. He took his MS in General Surgery at Pt. B. D. Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak, and trained in surgical oncology at Dr. B.R.A. IRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi and the Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad. His fellowships include HPB oncology with Prof. Marcus Buechler at Heidelberg, minimal access surgery with Dr. T. Subramaneshwar Rao at the Indo-American Cancer Institute, Hyderabad, and an ESSO fellowship in cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC at Lyon under Prof. Olivier Glehen.
