About the Hospital

Founded as the Escorts Heart Institute and now part of Fortis Healthcare, this is one of India's oldest hospitals dedicated solely to cardiac care. Under long-time chairman Dr. Ashok Seth, the centre has been credited with India's first Trans-Catheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) and several regional firsts in interventional cardiology, and has repeatedly been recognised as India's best single-specialty cardiology hospital.
